History Overview
Sepak Takraw was created by the royal family
of Malaysia about 500 years ago. The name of the game comes from two languages.Sepak is "kick" in Malay,
and Takraw is the "ball" in Thai.
A well spiked takraw ball is said to reach a speed of 140 Km/hr.While a well served takraw ball could reach
a speed of 95 Km/hr.... Wow! Now thats awesome Takraw ball kicking...
